Indiajoy and Cinematica Expo, which brings together technology and technicians from the world-renowned animation, VFX and gaming fields in one place to introduce visitors, is all set to entertain once again. This year’s 2nd edition of Cinematica Expo is being organized on November 16 and 17 at the premises of HICC Novotel as the international exhibition launched last year received an incredible response from many celebrities including the Telugu film industry.
In collaboration with IT Department of Telangana, this expo is going to be a platform to create awareness on issues like cinema, technology and creativity and meet world famous visual effects technicians, filmmakers, representatives of technology companies like Sony-Yari-Red etc. at one place. Cinematica Expo 2023 will be attended by Tollywood leading actor Akkineni Nagarjuna, ‘Kalki’ director Nag Ashwin, ‘Baahubali-RRR’ cinematographer KK Senthil Kumar, Telugu Cinematographers Association President PG Vinda and many film personalities and technicians attended and shared their experiences. The event will showcase state-of-the-art cinema equipment and software, as well as seminars, interactive sessions and new product stalls. Young filmmakers, students, VFX and gaming industry attendees will come to this event to learn about many new things. Around 30 thousand people are expected to attend this expo.
Another highlight is that the global Telugu content creators and influencers community, Telugu Digital Media Federation (Telugu DMF) along with Cinematica, has taken an initiative to strengthen ties between tech giants and content creators. As part of this, Telugu DMF will organize workshops and seminars to enhance the skills of content creators. Moreover, ‘Creators and Influencers Awards 2024’ will also be hosted from the same platform to further encourage Telugu creators and influencers from around the world as they play a vital role in the growth of the industry. Directors Ramgopal Varma, Sandeep Reddy Vanga and cinematographer Senthil Kumar were the chief guests of the program which started today.
Director RGV spoke on this occasion: First of all, thank you to all the organizers who invited me to the program. Cinema is different when I started, cinema is different now. Visual technology related to cinema has also changed. As Senthil mentioned, Indian cinema is seeing big heights. Currently directors like Sandeep Reddy Vanga are ruling the industry with innovation. This cinematic expo is like a good workshop for many people who are passionate about cinema. I congratulate the team for organizing this on such a grand scale.
Director Sandeep Reddy Vanga said: I came to this event only for RGV. But I didn’t expect the event would be so grand. I wish with that the 2nd edition of Cinematica Expo should be a grand success.
