Under the joint supervision of Sri Annapurna Creations, Vinod Film Academy, and Popcorn Theatre, a one-day acting workshop for aspiring actors was successfully held on October 16, 2025, at the Paidi Jairaj Preview Theatre, Ravindra Bharathi, Hyderabad.

The event was graced by prominent film personalities including actor Kishore Das, Vinod Film Academy founder and actor Nuvvulu Vinod Kumar, and directors Thallada Sai Krishna, Satish, and Pranayraj Vangari as chief guests. Around 80 aspiring actors enthusiastically participated in the workshop.
Actor Kishore Das said: “Acting is not just about standing in front of a camera; it’s a disciplined art form. Those who wish to enter the film industry must first learn the nuances of acting. Success comes when you can truly own and portray any character you’re given. If you work hard and stay disciplined, opportunities will definitely come your way.”
Vinod Film Academy founder and actor Nuvvulu Vinod Kumar stated: “Cinema is an incredible platform, but perseverance is essential to sustain in this field. Our academy not only teaches acting techniques but also guides youth about the kinds of opportunities available in the industry and how to pursue them. Every artist should set a clear goal and work hard to achieve it.”
Director Thallada Sai Krishna remarked: “As directors, what we expect from actors is skill and dedication. Newcomers should not be drawn only to the glamour side of cinema; they must respect acting as a serious profession. Understanding how directors choose scripts and characters will help aspiring actors a great deal.”
Director Satish added: “Today’s film industry is welcoming fresh talent. However, apart from acting, qualities like punctuality and discipline are equally important for success. To sustain in the industry, one must continuously practice and remain eager to learn new things.”
Director Pranay Raj Vangari said: “In this era of evolving technology, actors should keep upgrading their skills. They should explore new platforms such as short films and web series to showcase their talent. Focus on selecting strong characters and good scripts—when effort meets luck, success is inevitable.”
Throughout the workshop, the guests provided valuable guidance to the participants on several aspects of acting, including character immersion, voice modulation, expression of emotions, and overall performance techniques.
At the conclusion, certificates were awarded to all 80 participants, and the organizers expressed their happiness over the successful completion of the event.
